Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir spellslinger deck pairs Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy with Scion of Halaster to run a flexible control, poison, and combo strategy. Scion of Halaster filters cards into your graveyard on every draw step, while Gale turns every instant or sorcery cast from hand into double value by recasting cards of the opposite type from the graveyard. The primary win condition assembles Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal with nonland mana producers to generate infinite mana, finishing the table with Walking Ballista. Alternatively, the deck infects opponents using cards like Prologue to Phyresis or Ichor Rats, then rapidly proliferates poison counters to ten using spells and engine permanents.
