Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Jeskai Superfriends control strategy piloted by Commodore Guff. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost artifact acceleration to land Commodore Guff and supporting planeswalkers early. The deck controls creature combat through dense, asymmetric board wipes like Supreme Verdict and Urza's Ruinous Blast, alongside stax elements such as Silent Arbiter and Narset, Parter of Veils. Proliferate engines like Flux Channeler and loyalty multipliers like Oath of Teferi accelerate planeswalkers toward decisive loyalty thresholds. Victory is achieved around turn 8 through repeated table-wide burn from Commodore Guff and Chandra, Legacy of Fire, or by turning planeswalkers into an evasive strike force using Sarkhan the Masterless. The deck maintains strong resilience against creature-based strategies but relies on draw volume rather than targeted tutors to find specific silver bullets.
