Deck overview

This Esper deck combines Group Hug mechanics with forced-draw punishment and pillowfort stax. Led by The Second Doctor and Vislor Turlough, it accelerates card draw for the entire table while removing maximum hand size limits and penalizing opponents who attack you. Once opponents hold full hands of eight to twelve cards, the deck transitions into a lethal burn strategy using artifacts and creatures like Iron Maiden, Ebony Owl Netsuke, Viseling, Underworld Dreams, and Fate Unraveler. To protect this incremental damage clock, the deck deploys attack taxes such as Propaganda and Ghostly Prison, alongside single-spell limiters like Rule of Law and Archon of Emeria that stop opponents from casting all the cards they receive. It wins steadily over several turn rotations through unavoidable upkeep and draw triggers.
