Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a highly tuned Dimir Ninja tempo-control build helmed by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan uses Yuriko's commander ninjutsu to repeatedly cheat her into play from the command zone, generating massive card advantage and life drain each time a Ninja connects. The deck packs a dense evasive creature suite-cheap flyers, unblockable threats, and Ninjas with ninjutsu-supported by a deep countermagic and removal package to protect its board and disrupt opponents. Secondary win conditions include Shredder, Shadow Master halving life totals and Satoru Umezawa turning every creature into a ninjutsu enabler for explosive damage. The deck controls the stack, filters through its library rapidly, and pressures life totals while maintaining a strong defensive posture through counters and hexproof-granting equipment.
