Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Sauron, the Dark Lord to turn opponent spellcasts into a rapidly growing Orc Army and relentless Ring tempts. Combat connections with the Army trigger the Ring to tempt you, which unlocks Sauron's powerful ability to wheel your hand into four fresh cards each turn. You close games through massive Army combat pumped by Assault on Osgiliath, wide Wraith swings enabled by Lord of the Nazgul and multiple Nazgul creatures, or overwhelming damage bursts from Fall of Cair Andros paired with Blasphemous Act.
