Format: Commander

Commander: Omnath, Locus of All

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Omnath, Locus of All is a five-color value engine, but the deck is really a Merfolk/explore tribal list with Hakbal of the Surging Soul as the hidden commander. Omnath fixes and accelerates mana; Hakbal, Topography Tracker, and explore creatures turn land draws into board growth and card advantage. Secondary paths are a defender package with Axebane Guardian and High Alert for infinite mana, a Tombstone Stairwell death-trigger drain, and a Maskwood/Stonybrook/Wanderwine extra-turn loop. Omnath is not part of any combo, so the deck can keep playing if he is removed. Most wins are not fast: they require assembling several specific nonland pieces.
