Esper - BR4? by user6684033

Format: Commander

Commander: Merieke Ri Berit

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Merieke Ri Berit is an Esper control-combo deck that leans on repeatable theft-removal to reach a compact infinite-mana or Doomsday kill. The commander is a control piece, not the engine. The primary plan is Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter with mana rocks for infinite colored mana, finished by Exsanguinate. Secondary paths are Doomsday into Thassa's Oracle via Frantic Search, and several creature-untap/Deadeye lines. Merieke, with untap enablers such as Energy Arc, Aphetto Alchemist, Pemmin's Aura, and Thousand-Year Elixir, removes a creature per activation while the deck digs with Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Esper Sentinel. A dense tutor package plus six counterspells and broad removal keeps the table in check until the combo clicks.
