Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Sultai combo-Elf deck built around turning Thranduil, the Elvenking into a living mana engine. The plan is to deploy one-mana Elf dorks, load Elf cards into the graveyard with Buried Alive and Underrealm Lich, then let Thranduil inherit the activated abilities of Marwyn, the Nurturer, Elvish Archdruid, and Circle of Dreams Druid. From there, Staff of Domination untaps Thranduil while generating net mana, and Walking Ballista converts that into a one-turn table kill. The secondary path is the classic Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation combo, while Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and Maralen, Fae Ascendant provide combat and drain fallbacks. The deck is fast, tutor-dense, and surprisingly layered despite its linear-looking Elf shell.
