Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon Stompy strategy focused on accelerating into massive flying threats. Led by Sunastian Falconer, the deck uses land ramp and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant to cast high-impact Dragons turns ahead of curve. The game plan revolves around deploying game-ending aerial threats such as Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of the Throne. These creatures quickly close the game through double strike, token swarms, and additional combat steps. Card draw engines like Elemental Bond and Dragon's Hoard help replenish resources, while utility cards like Dragon Tempest and Hammer of Purphoros grant vital haste. Because the deck relies on sorcery-speed creature combat without heavy instant-speed protection, it is vulnerable to sweepers and spot removal. However, its high threat density and built-in redundancy ensure steady recovery after board wipes.
