Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis midrange strategy centered on Marchesa, Dealer of Death. It turns every interactive spell and targeting ability into card selection and graveyard fuel. Low-cost targeting permanents like Glasses of Urza and ping deserts trigger Marchesa for minimal mana investment. The deck controls the board with efficient removal and counterspells, simultaneously binning high-impact threats like Archon of Cruelty and Hullbreaker Horror. Once the graveyard is primed, cheap reanimation spells return these monsters to establish board dominance. The deck closes games through repeated combat damage, edict triggers, and token swarms from Gisa, the Hellraiser, backed by instant-speed interaction.
