Format: Commander

Commander: Dogmeat, Ever Loyal

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Naya (RGW) Aura/Equipment Voltron strategy built around Dogmeat, Ever Loyal as the primary engine and beater. The game plan revolves around casting Dogmeat early to mill five cards, returning an Aura or Equipment from the graveyard to hand, then suiting him up to generate card advantage through Junk tokens on attack. The deck also includes a supporting cast of creatures like Siona, Captain of the Pyleas and Wildsear, Scouring Maw to find or cascade into Auras. It wins primarily through commander damage, supplemented by pumped-up creatures like Baloth Woodcrasher or Red Hulk. The list lacks infinite combos but builds inevitability through combat damage, gradual value from Junk tokens, and occasional explosive effects like Fiery Emancipation or World War Hulk. The mana base is modest, with 36 lands and several mana dorks/rocks, enabling a consistent but not fast development.
