Itazura's Auction House by Helico

Format: Commander

Commander: Itazura, Lingering Wick

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet deck, helmed by Itazura, Lingering Wick, is a chaos-value control build that weaponizes its commander's upkeep trigger to generate card advantage and damage while deploying copy and theft spells to multiply that value. The primary game plan is to use Itazura's ability each upkeep to exile three cards, let opponents pick numbers, and then reward yourself with a card while burning one opponent; the deck then capitalizes on free-cast effects from cards like Plargg and Nassari, Dance with Calamity, and Aminatou's Augury to chain multiple spells in a single turn. Secondary win conditions include dropping an 11/11 Blightsteel Colossus with infect, or overwhelming opponents with blast effects like Balefire Dragon and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames. The deck relies on its commander for value but functional plan of copying spells and dropping haymakers exists independently. ---
