Deck overview

This competitive Grixis storm deck leverages explosive mana velocity, premier tutors, and dense free interaction to execute fast combo wins. The primary route centers on Underworld Breach combined with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond or Lotus Petal. This loop rapidly mills the pilot's library, generates infinite mana, and mills out all opponents in a single turn. The commander, Fire Lord Azula, provides built-in combat mana acceleration and doubles any spell cast while attacking. This ability enables an independent backup line using Seething Song and Reiterate with buyback to generate infinite mana and burn out the table. A deep suite of free countermagic, instant-speed interaction, and cards like Hexing Squelcher and Borne Upon a Wind protect win attempts on the stack and allow the deck to pivot and win at instant speed over opposing plays.
