Deck overview

This is a Green-White "reach tribal" deck built around toughness-matters combat, helmed by Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant. The commander is the engine: his hexproof-until-attacking body, untap-and-unblockable reach synergy, and combat-damage draw trigger turn a board of cheap spiders and archers into a card-advantage machine that keeps attacking profitably. The actual kill comes from toughness-as-power effects - Assault Formation, Huatli, the Sun's Heart, Baldin, Century Herdmaster, Rasaad yn Bashir, and Tapestry Warden - turning 1/4 and 1/5 spiders into real damage, amplified by toughness pumps like Bar the Door, Solidarity, and Tower Defense. The deck wins through incremental, evasive combat damage rather than any combo, with Nature's Will and Druids' Repository providing pseudo-ramp off attacks. It is a classic midrange value-beatdown build that grinds card advantage through combat triggers.
