Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Landfall engine led by The Necrobloom. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana via efficient land ramp, filling the graveyard with land cards, and converting land drops into an expanding army of Plant, Zombie, Insect, and Elemental tokens. Once The Necrobloom is deployed on Turn 4, every land in the graveyard gains dredge 2, enabling continuous card recycling and graveyard velocity. On Turn 5, explosive mass land recursion spells such as Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, Splendid Reclamation, or Aftermath Analyst trigger massive waves of landfall triggers. The deck converts this overwhelming board presence into a lethal finish via overrun effects like Moonshaker Cavalry or stacked counters from Felidar Retreat and Avenger of Zendikar. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to Sylvan Safekeeper and strong graveyard recursion engines like Six and Conduit of Worlds, the deck remains susceptible to mass exile sweepers and dedicated graveyard hate.
