Rootha "Big Spell" by Lordkrasus7

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Izzet spellslinger token strategy helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment. The primary game plan is to chain instants and sorceries together, generating a wide army of flying, hasty token creatures via the commander's combat trigger and a dense suite of token-making spells. The deck leans heavily on copy effects (Twinflame, Rite of Replication, Replication Technique) and token-multipliers like Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Rionya, Fire Dancer to turn a single token into a lethal board. Big mana rituals (Mana Geyser, Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song) and cost reducers (Stormcatch Mentor, Thunderclap Drake) fuel explosive turns, while Surge to Victory and Furygale Flocking serve as finishers. The commander is a powerful engine but not the sole win condition; the deck functions well with other token generators in the 99.
