Deck overview

This Izzet Spellslinger deck is commanded by Mizzix of the Izmagnus, leveraging experience counters to generate massive generic cost reductions for instant and sorcery spells. The strategy accelerates through cheap cantrips, mana rocks, and cost reducers to deploy Mizzix by Turn 3 or 4. Once experience counters accumulate, the deck converts high-cost draw spells and rituals into hyper-efficient engines, chaining spells through Past in Flames, Bonus Round, and Mizzix's Mastery. The primary victory path achieves infinite mana and spell copies using Reiterate paired with Turnabout or discounted rituals, closing the game immediately with an overwhelming Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, or full-deck Blue Sun's Zenith mill. Backup lines utilize Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling, and Vivi Ornitier to sustain lethal storm turns even without the commander.
