Deck overview

This Calamity, Galloping Inferno deck is an explosive mono-red combat deck designed to duplicate high-impact nonlegendary creatures for overwhelming damage bursts. Utilizing a dense suite of mana rocks, rituals, and Treasure producers, the deck reliably deploys a threatening creature on Turn 4 followed by Calamity on Turn 5. Thanks to Calamity's haste and Saddle 1 requirement, it attacks the turn it enters, immediately generating two attacking copies of creatures like Terror of the Peaks, Port Razer, or Combat Celebrant. These duplicates generate massive damage, untap phases, or value triggers that drastically shorten opponent clocks. The deck also harbors a clean backup win condition through the classic Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts infinite combo. While the deck boasts immense offensive momentum and strong redundancy in payoffs, its main vulnerabilities lie in sparse instant-speed interaction and light defensive protection, making it susceptible to well-timed spot removal before attacks resolve.
