Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats combo list that leverages sacrifice synergies, recursive creatures, and death-trigger payoffs. Led by Drivnod, Carnage Dominus, the commander acts as an explosive force multiplier that doubles all death triggers from drain outlets and card-draw engines. The primary game plan focuses on assembling an infinite death loop using recursive creatures like Gravecrawler or Forsaken Miner, a free sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader, and a drain payoff like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. Supported by dense low-cost tutors, rituals, and massive draw engines like Necropotence and Bolas's Citadel, the deck reliably threatens a same-turn table elimination on Turn 4. When faced with creature-heavy opposition, asymmetric stax pieces like Grave Pact and Tergrid, God of Fright strip opposing boards while fueling your own engine.
