Deck overview

This Azorius deck commands an artifact and Vehicle strategy helmed by Shorikai, Genesis Engine. Shorikai serves as a resilient draw engine and token generator that sits safely on the battlefield as a noncreature artifact, ignoring conventional creature board wipes. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks and cost reducers to cast Shorikai by Turn 3 or 4, steadily generating 1/1 Pilot tokens that crew as 3-power creatures. Supported by a robust suite of eight counterspells and flexible removal, the deck controls the game tempo while filtering through cards each turn. It builds toward an explosive critical onset around Turn 6, using asymmetric board resets like Organic Extinction or decisive overruns like Cyberdrive Awakener and Parhelion II to animate its artifact fleet into flying threats. The deck closes out games through overwhelming evasive combat damage over two response cycles, concluding around Turn 8 with high resilience.
