Best squirrel Dech by Lord-Salas

Format: Commander

Commander: The Odd Acorn Gang

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari Squirrel deck builds an exponential token army, uses The Odd Acorn Gang to draw on combat damage and act as a variable anthem, and closes with Overwhelming Stampede or End-Raze Forerunners. A secondary infinite combo between Scurry Oak and Ivy Lane Denizen generates arbitrarily many 1/1 Squirrels and +1/+1 counters. The plan is resilient because it has many redundant token generators, but it lacks stack protection and depends on a critical mass of small creatures rather than on casting the commander. Playing a few early ramp spells and a token engine lets the deck curve from commander into an alpha strike within a few turns.
