Da Bears (Kudo, King Among Bears)

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kudo, King Among Bears turns every creature into a 2/2 Bear via a global anthem-like effect, enabling a go-wide token strategy that floods the board with small bodies and pumps them with tribal anthems. The deck aims to overwhelm opponents with a wide army of Bears, using tokens from enchantments and sorceries, while leveraging Kudo's ability to make all creatures (including opponents') base 2/2 to neuter larger threats. The hidden commander is Ayula, Queen Among Bears, which synergizes with the Bear type by empowering every Bear that enters with +1/+1 counters or fight effects. The deck includes numerous token generators, card draw tied to creature entry/attack, and a finisher suite of anthems and overrun effects. Overall, the strategy is a classic go-wide aggro deck that accelerates into a critical mass of tokens and buffs.
