Deck overview

This Boros deck is piloted by Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant // Phoenix, Warden of Fire, leveraging token generation, direct burn, and graveyard recursion to overwhelm opponents. Early turns focus on establishing mana, filtering through the library with Joshua's rummage ability, and deploying key burn engines like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Agate Instigator. By Turn 5, mass token creators such as Increasing Devotion and Call the Coppercoats trigger massive direct damage across all three opponents simultaneously, amplified by damage triplers like Fiery Emancipation. If disrupted, the deck pivots into reanimation engines powered by Replenish, Sun Titan, Karmic Guide, and the Chapter III trigger of Phoenix, Warden of Fire. It presents a resilient clock that wins through non-combat damage.
