Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger deck helmed by Massimo, the Magician that fuses combat-enabled spell copying with classic noncreature pingers and token engines. The core loop fills the graveyard with mana-value-1 instants and sorceries, then uses creature ETBs (including Massimo himself) to exile those spells onto bodies; whenever the enchanted creature connects, it copies and casts the spell for free. Redundant damage engines-Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Coruscation Mage, Fiery Inscription, Aria of Flame, and Ral, Storm Conduit-burn the table whenever you cast, while evasive one-drops and prowess payoffs (Bria, Riptide Rogue, Monastery Mentor, Jeskai Ascendancy) convert cantrips into combat pressure. There are no infinite combos; wins come from accumulated ping damage, storm turns off Grapeshot/Thousand-Year Storm, and multi-combat swings via Great Train Heist. Massimo is a strong value piece but not mandatory-the 99 already functions as a coherent spellslinger midrange deck.
