Commander: Umbris, Fear Manifest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Umbris, Fear Manifest anchors a Dimir exile-tribal deck that uses Horror/Nightmare ETBs to strip opposing libraries and turn every exiled card into commander power. The primary path is to grow Umbris with repeated exile triggers, give it unblockable or haste, and take out each opponent with 21 commander damage over three hits. Backup plans include Phenax-based milling, stealing opponents' exiled spells with Ashiok, Nightmare Muse, Brainstealer Dragon, and Elder Brain, and a two-card Doomsday Excruciator + Maddening Cacophony library-emptying kill. The deck has strong instant-speed interaction and graveyard hate, but no tutors and limited acceleration make its fastest combo occasional.
