Waltz with the devil by artisticviking

Format: Commander

Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck, helmed by Black Waltz No. 3, is a spell-slinger burn strategy that converts every noncreature spell into a damage trigger. The commander's ability deals 2 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, and the deck is built to chain as many cheap instants, sorceries, rituals, and artifacts as possible. Additional win conditions include Grapeshot (storm), Furnace of Rath and Artist's Talent (damage amplification), and hand-punishment artifacts like Black Vise, The Rack, and Iron Maiden. The deck also generates token Wizards (via Transpose, Cornered by Black Mages, and Circle of Power) that chip in extra damage. The plan is to accelerate mana with rituals, deploy the commander early, then storm off with a dense stack of low-cost spells, draining the table in a single turn or two.
