Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats and Persist Combo list helmed by Lagomos, Hand of Hatred. Lagomos guarantees a steady flow of sacrifice fodder by generating a 2/1 Elemental token with trample and haste during each combat step. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana rocks, incidental treasure generators, and sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer and Goblin Bombardment. In the mid-game, the deck establishes card advantage and board control through forced-sacrifice edicts like Accursed Marauder and Plaguecrafter, combined with death payoffs such as Mayhem Devil and Morbid Opportunist. The primary path to victory is an infinite persist loop. By combining a persist creature like Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin with counter-granting enablers like First Day of Class or Gev, Scaled Scorch and a free sacrifice outlet, the deck generates infinite enters-the-battlefield and death triggers to deal lethal direct damage. Robust reanimation effects provide strong resilience against removal.
