Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Esper Reanimator Combo strategy piloted by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. The list leverages efficient looting and entomb effects to place game-ending creatures into the graveyard, converting them into immediate wins or overwhelming board states through low-cost reanimation spells. The primary win condition utilizes Buried Alive to bin Necrotic Ooze, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and Skirge Familiar, allowing Necrotic Ooze to draw the entire library, generate surplus black mana, and win immediately on Turn 4 via Laboratory Maniac. Hashaton, Scarab's Fist provides substantial mid-game value by generating 4/4 token copies of discarded creature cards, turning regular loot effects into board presence. Backed by a dense suite of 12 efficient counterspells, premium spot removal, and robust secondary lines such as Tivit, Seller of Secrets paired with Time Sieve, the deck combines explosive speed with resilient plan shielding.
