Commander: Chief of the Wilds

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Wolf-tribal deck helmed by Chief of the Wilds, whose second ability doubles every trigger of your other Wolves - turning each Wolf's ETB, attack, and upkeep trigger into a compounding engine. The primary plan is to go wide: deploy Wolf token engines like Chief Warg's Company, Hollowhenge Overlord, and Nightpack Ambusher, double their output with the commander and Parallel Lives, then close with a finisher - Triumph of the Hordes (infect + trample), Beastmaster Ascension (+5/+5), or Howl of the Night Pack for a massive token dump. Planeswalkers Garruk, Cursed Huntsman and Garruk Relentless provide additional token generation, tutoring, and a game-ending emblem. The deck is a midrange combat swarm with a modest removal suite and no infinite combos, relying on board presence and combat inevitability rather than combo assembly.
