Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan +1/+1 counters deck is helmed by the partner pair Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan, blending a legendary-matters subtheme with a dense counter-doubling package. The core plan is to deploy redundant counter engines, double and re-double +1/+1 counters across a wide board, then close with a single overwhelming combat step via Overwhelming Stampede or Akroma's Will. A secondary infinite line exists through Ghave, Guru of Spores combined with any of the deck's seven counter doublers (Doubling Season, Corpsejack Menace, The Earth Crystal, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Michelangelo, Weirdness to 11). Token generation from Felisa, Fang of Silverquill, Elenda, the Dusk Rose, and Call the Coppercoats provides both board presence and wipe resilience.
