Deck overview

This deck executes an Esper Sphinx tribal strategy powered by The Ur-Sphinx in the command zone. Its eminence ability reduces the cost of all Sphinx spells by one generic mana from turn 1, enabling rapid deployment of massive flying threats ahead of curve. The deck transitions from early artifact ramp into dominant mid-game engines like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Consecrated Sphinx, which generate immense card advantage. A robust suite of low-mana counterspells and flexible removal spells protects the board and controls opposing strategies. Win conditions focus on overwhelming aerial combat damage supported by Magister Sphinx, extra turn spells such as Time Warp and Expropriate, and combat triggers from Tivit, Seller of Secrets and Medomai the Ageless. The deck boasts strong resilience against board wipes due to the high density of standalone threats and permanent cost reduction.
