Format: Commander

Commander: Magar of the Magic Strings

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Magar of the Magic Strings turns key instants and sorceries in the graveyard into hasty 3/3s that copy and cast themselves on contact. The primary plan is to put Worldfire and a one-damage spell (Vicious Rumors, End the Festivities, or Tectonic Hazard) into the graveyard, then make both as face-down creatures and attack. Ordering the triggers so Worldfire resolves before the damage spell leaves every opponent at 1 life and then takes 1 damage. The commander is the enabler, reanimator, and finisher; no hidden commander exists. A single Relentless Assault copy provides an alternate infinite-combat kill.
