Deck overview

This Orzhov combo-control deck turns life totals into an aggressive resource engine using Mister Negative. The strategy aggressively lowers its own life total using cards like Wall of Blood, Unspeakable Symbol, and Necrodominance while staying alive through safety nets like Phyrexian Unlife, Angel's Grace, and Cloudsteel Kirin. On turn 5, Mister Negative enters the battlefield to swap life totals with the healthiest opponent, dropping them to single digits while drawing 20 to 35 cards from the life lost. With an overwhelming hand, the deck locks out opposing interaction using Grand Abolisher and executes an infinite drain loop with Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Enduring Tenacity on turn 6. Even without the commander, high-powered engines like Bolas's Citadel and Peer into the Abyss provide resilient backup routes to victory.
