Gandalf, the Red Wizard by JAlcazar

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Goblins' Bane is a mono-red spellslinger deck built around turning every noncreature spell into damage. The primary plan is to land Gandalf early, add Birgi or Urabrask as a mana engine, then chain cheap instants and sorceries using looting and impulse draw while Longshot, Kessig Flamebreather, and Gandalf convert each cast into 3-4 burn. Damage multipliers like Solphim, Ojer Axonil, and Mjolnir close the game. A secondary path uses pumped commander damage with Rogue's Passage or Trailblazer's Boots. The hidden commander is Birgi: without it the spell chains top out quickly. The Flameshape adventure face is used mainly as extra fuel once a Wizard is on board, not as a build-around.
