Dragoning my balls across your face by xChimera

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck weaponizes Smaug's indestructibility as a Treasure engine. The primary plan is to cast Smaug, hit it with noncombat damage (Cut Propulsion, Ghirapur Aether Grid, Pariah's Shield, Requiem Monolith), and bank a huge pile of Treasures, then convert that mana into a lethal Torment of Hailfire or Crackle with Power. Secondary paths use Revel in Riches and Hellkite Tyrant for artifact-count wins, Bolas's Citadel for top-deck card advantage, and Mayhem Devil to turn Treasure sacrifices into pings. Graveyard tools like Underworld Breach and Festival of Embers add resilience, while rituals and tutors accelerate the combo. The commander is the main engine, but the artifact value shell can still grind games when Smaug is unavailable.
