Deck overview

Jolene, the Plunder Queen leads a proactive Gruul midrange deck focused on Treasure generation, artifact synergies, and explosive combat steps. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using efficient ramp spells and creatures, establishing Jolene on Turn 3. Once on the battlefield, Jolene boosts Treasure output whenever any player attacks an opponent, incentivizing cross-table aggression while rapidly filling your resource pool. By Turn 4, token enhancers like Academy Manufactor, Xorn, and Goldspan Dragon compound this mana surplus into massive card advantage and board presence. The deck converts its wealth into decisive pressure on Turn 5 through towering threats such as Ancient Copper Dragon, Goldvein Hydra, The Reaver Cleaver, or an upkeep win with Hellkite Tyrant. While the strategy excels at generating tremendous mana velocity, it relies on natural draws to find specific finishers and remains vulnerable to artifact sweepers. Overall, the deck delivers resilient beatdown and runaway resource scaling in typical mid-power Commander games.
