Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck blends tempo combat card draw with a dedicated planeswalker loyalty win condition. Commanded by Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, the deck grants unblockability to creatures with power or toughness 1 or less, turning low-cost creatures into reliable draw engines with Bident of Thassa, Curiosity, and Fblthp, Impossibly Lost. Behind this steady card flow, the deck deploys cards with the Empower Jace mechanic, pooling loyalty counters onto Jace planeswalker tokens and cards. This fuels Jace, Reality Sculptor toward its game-ending threshold of twenty-five total loyalty counters. Once reached, Jace exiles all but the bottom card of each opponent's library, setting up an inevitable win on the following turn cycle or an immediate victory through forced-draw spells like Windfall. Defensive pieces such as Propaganda, stun counters, and split-second protection keep the board stable until the plan closes the game.
