Deck overview

This deck uses Fynn, the Fangbearer as a low-cost poison engine. Cheap deathtouch creatures attack early, while infect and toxic creatures add poison without requiring large power. The first turns should establish a mana source, deploy one-mana attackers, and cast Fynn, the Fangbearer as soon as practical. The deck then builds a wide combat board and looks for a finisher such as Triumph of the Hordes, Predatory Focus, Overrun, or Overwhelming Stampede. Bloated Contaminator and Evolution Sage can accelerate existing poison counters, but neither is a complete substitute for connecting in combat. The list is strong at creating early pressure and trading creatures profitably, but it has limited card flow, weak selection for its final attack, and little protection from sweepers or combo decks. Its ordinary clock is a turn-six critical attack followed by further combat, not a deterministic early kill.
