Deck overview

This deck is a high-tier competitive Commander deck centered on Shorikai, Genesis Engine. It executes a controlling stax-combo strategy that breaks parity on powerful suppression pieces. Because Shorikai is a noncreature artifact Vehicle, the deck freely deploys Cursed Totem and creature sweepers like Supreme Verdict and Out of Time without impeding its own card-draw and token-generating engine. Fast mana accelerates Shorikai onto the battlefield by Turn 2 or 3, providing consistent card flow and filtering. The deck suppresses opposing fast combo decks with Drannith Magistrate, Grafdigger's Cage, and free counterspells while assembling compact win conditions. Its primary routes to victory involve looping zero-mana artifacts with Displacer Kitten and Teferi, Time Raveler or bouncing the board and generating infinite mana with Hullbreaker Horror, ultimately draining the table using Glaring Fleshraker.
