Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari token swarm and aristocrats strategy commanded by Hazel of the Rootbloom. The primary plan focuses on establishing early token producers such as Bitterblossom, Gilded Goose, or Prosperous Innkeeper to enable Hazel's end-step duplication trigger immediately upon resolution on turn 4. Hazel then doubles as a potent mana battery, converting tapped tokens into explosive mana bursts that deploy overrun threats like Beastmaster Ascension and End-Raze Forerunners, or aristocrat engines headlined by Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Ashnod's Altar. While lacking stack interaction and protective countermagic, the deck compensates with extreme permanent redundancy, resilient token generation from cards like Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Beledros Witherbloom, and asymmetric creature sweeps like Swarmyard Massacre. The primary win sequence reaches critical lethality on turn 6 and cleanly sweeps the table on turn 7.
