Deck overview

This mono-green deck accelerates mana on early turns to deploy massive creatures and cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger ahead of schedule. The game plan relies on 1- and 2-mana ramp pieces like Llanowar Elves, Wild Growth, and Nature's Lore to cast high-power creatures such as Gigantosaurus, Railway Brawler, or Quakestrider Ceratops on Turn 3. Reaching 10 or more power reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana on Turn 4, establishing an immediate 12/12 trample threat. Card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, The Great Henge, and Guardian Project turn large creature drops into steady card advantage. The deck closes games around Turn 6 by overwhelming defenses with combat damage through Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or The Skullspore Nexus. While weak to mass exile and counterspells, the deck protects its board with spells like Heroic Intervention and Tyvar's Stand.
