And My Axe! by cvance2388

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf Equipment midrange deck helmed by Thorin Oakenshield. The plan is to establish an enduring story (three or more artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas), suit legendary Dwarves with a dense Equipment package, and close through oversized combat damage. Thorin Oakenshield is a cheap trampler who blankets the board with ward once Storied is online, but he is not a tutor or draw engine-the 99 carries the plan via Puresteel Paladin, Sram, Senior Edificer, and auto-attach pieces like Hammer of Nazahn. Primary wins are commander-or-combat damage amplified by Fiery Emancipation, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, with Dain of the Ancient Halls as a table-wide burn finisher. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by attrition and decisive combat turns.
