New Untitled Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender leads a land-animation and extra-combat deck. The primary plan is to ramp into Toph, turn lands and artifacts into creature-lands via earthbend effects, then finish with repeated combat phases from Bumi, Unleashed or Moraug. Secondary paths are the artifact-to-land conversion combo with Liquimetal Torque/Mycosynth Lattice, and landfall token/counter beats from Scute Swarm and Felidar Retreat. The Legend of Kyoshi // Avatar Kyoshi acts as a hidden transform finisher, granting trample/hexproof to lands and making a huge mana engine. The commander also enables a powerful combo: with a Liquimetal effect, Bumi becomes a land and can attack through infinite extra combats when given haste.
