Bilbo, Thief in the Night by nvater

Format: Commander

Commander: Bilbo, Thief in the Night

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bilbo, Thief in the Night leads a mono-blue artifact-combo deck. The primary plan is to assemble Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal and a net-positive artifact-mana loop, then kill with Walking Ballista. Bilbo is a value engine: he discounts non-hand casts and re-casts artifact/instant/sorcery from the graveyard on attack. The secondary path uses Krark-Clan Ironworks, Scrap Trawler, Myr Retriever, and Sai to generate artifact/storm loops, finishing with Aetherflux Reservoir or Cyberdrive Awakener. Mystic Forge and Urza, Lord High Artificer act as the deck's hidden commanders, providing mana and cast-from-top redundancy. Bilbo, Luckwearer is only a utility theft/filter in the 99.
