Deck overview

This mono-red Spellslinger deck is commanded by Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape, focusing on rapid spell velocity to incinerate the table with group-slug burn triggers. The primary strategy involves deploying Gandalf alongside redundant pingers such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Firebrand Archer. By chaining low-cost cantrips, burn spells, and rituals, the deck repeatedly triggers noncombat damage across all opponents simultaneously. Midgame recursion pieces like Underworld Breach and Past in Flames allow the deck to replay its entire graveyard in a single explosive turn, while Storm-Kiln Artist combines with Haze of Rage to generate infinite storm, mana, and team-wide power. The deck operates on a compact Turn 6 lethal clock that closes the game in a single turn once critical mass is achieved. While it possesses tremendous damage output and redundant win conditions, it runs minimal reactive protection and relies on speed over defensive interaction.
