Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads an aggressive Boros Dwarf and Equipment deck centered on the storied mechanic. The deck rapidly casts low-cost Dwarves, legendary permanents, and Equipment to unlock an enduring story permanently. Once established, Thorin grants global ward protection to your army and artifacts, shielding your key pieces from spot removal. You win primarily through combat damage by building massive threats with Equipment like Blackblade Reforged, Bloodforged Battle-Axe, and Bearded Axe, or by creating a wide board of pumped Dwarf tokens using Reckless Crew, Fili the Pathfinder, and Thorin, King of Durin Folk.
