Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Boros-skewed historic deck with a five-color commander, Tom Bombadil. It focuses on accumulating legendary creatures, artifacts, and Sagas to unlock Storied benefits. Early turns establish a wide Dwarf board using low-cost creatures like Dwalin, Weaponmaster, Kíli the Resourceful, and Glóin, Dwarf Emissary, while generating Treasure tokens. In the midgame, anthems like Thorin, King of Durin's Folk and burn engines like Balin, Loremaster turn this wide presence into significant combat pressure. Secondary win conditions include large Dragon tokens generated by There and Back Again and The Misty Mountains Cold, alongside high-impact flyers such as Smaug the Magnificent. While the commander offers incidental value by cascading into Sagas, the deck primarily wins through fair, multi-turn combat damage bolstered by artifact and token synergies.
