Deck overview

This deck is a focused Rakdos aggressive reanimator strategy built around Alesha, Who Laughs at Fate. It leverages a dense suite of low-mana Warriors and Zombies to pressure opponents early while filling the graveyard through combat trades, sacrifice triggers, and edict effects. Alesha serves as both a scaling combat threat and a repeatable end-step recursion engine, reanimating key utility creatures like Accursed Marauder and Dreadhorde Butcher each turn she attacks. As the mid-game develops, the deck transitions into lethal damage output using damage multipliers like Gratuitous Violence and Collective Inferno, alongside evasion mechanics that turn opposing blockers into Cowards via Gornog, the Red Reaper and Boldwyr Intimidator. While the deck recovers well from spot removal thanks to built-in recursion, it remains vulnerable to graveyard hate, board wipes, and resolved enchantments due to color identity limitations and light stack interaction.
