Deck overview

This Jeskai Wizard spellslinger deck uses Gandalf, Party Guest to cast instants and sorceries for free at combat, with the discount scaling as 2x the number of legendary Wizards you control. You build a board of legendary Wizards such as Kaza, Kykar, Talrand, and Vivi, then generate value from casting noncreature spells through tokens, card draw, and pings. Secondary paths include extra turns from Expropriate and Nexus of Fate, and a combat finish with Surge to Victory copying a big spell. Gandalf accelerates but does not enable a deterministic infinite combo; the deck wins through incremental advantage, token swarms, and burn from Niv-Mizzet, Vivi, and Gandalf, Goblins' Bane.
