Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic Voltron strategy commanded by Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief. The primary plan involves establishing a low-cost, non-Human creature alongside Ivy, then casting single-target Auras, mutate spells, and combat cantrips. Whenever a spell targets the companion creature, Ivy creates an exact copy targeting herself. This doubles the value, card draw, and power output of every spell cast. The deck scales quickly into massive combat pressure using powerful stat boosters like Ancestral Mask, Colossification, and Corrupted Conscience. Cheap, single-mana protection spells like Tamiyo's Safekeeping and Royal Treatment also duplicate onto Ivy, shielding both threats simultaneously from opposing interaction. While the deck lacks nonland tutors and hard stax elements, its explosive card draw engines and double-target efficiency allow it to overpower opponents through rapid, resilient combat steps.
